Electrical System Diagram
This is the electrical diagram for the boat. It shows all major
systems. Of note is the fact that it only shows the 120-volt and 12-volt
distribution systems, and does not show ground return. All 12-volt devices
will return to a ground connection near the fuse panel, and the two ground
systems will be connected using a "bonding" busbar.
I had considered using
two galvanic isolators, but my sailing conditions (freshwater) and the
price (usd$200 each, or so) do not justify it. For what it's worth, it's
the best marine wiring diagram I know of online at the moment.
